Losing it for Tanzania

During the coming months chunky, hunky director Paul Lehane will be counting the calories and pounding the pavements as part of our great sponsored slim. He aims to turn the pounds into £'s for TEAM Tanzania, the Canterbury-based charity currently working to fund the building and equipping of St Peter's Tabora Secondary School in Tanzania.

Building started in January and eventually the African school will be able to accommodate 2500 students and will have cost around £2.5million.

Paul tells us that he aims to lose around 4-5 stones.

Football returns to Canterbury

Lehane Travel has a long association with Canterbury City Football Club and we are delighted that the team has been re-formed after such a long break.

The future looks encouraging, with hopes and plans for a new ground and training facilities - and a permanent home for the team.

We are very proud to sponsor our local team, and wish them well for next season!

Prize-winning safety DVD

Lehane Travel recently challenged students at Spires Academy to produce a safety film for use on our school buses.

We needed something to clearly explain the rules for safe travel including the importance of wearing seatbelts and behaving sensibly whilst on the coaches.

They all did a great job and we would like to thank the IT department and all the students involved. The winning film is now being used by us on all school trips.
